Deborah "Debbie" Ann Mathis

Deborah Ann "Debbie" Mathis, 55, of Bradford departed this life Thursday, September 11, 2014. She was born February 1, 1959 to Raymond Loyd and Wanda Mae (Wallace) Flowers. Debbie was a member of Possum Grape Church of Christ, employed at Arkansas Department of Correction-Grimes Unit, President of United Way and involved in Relay for Life. Her favorite place to visit was Bryce Canyon, Utah, she enjoyed shopping, purses, crafts, teaching vacation bible school, her grandchildren and traveling. She was preceded in death by her stepfather; Oneil "Andy" Andrew, stepmother; Bonnie Flowers, paternal grandparents; Edward and Mildred Flowers, maternal grandparents; Thurman and Evelyn Wallace, and aunt; Reba Holt. Her survivors are her husband; Gary Mathis of Bradford, parents; Raymond and Wanda Flowers of Bradford, two sons; Ira Jason (Jamie) of Houston, Texas and Jeremy (Chasity) Mathis of Bradford, five brothers; Danny Andrew of Bradford, Dana "Duke" Andrew of Bradford, Deneil Andrew of Bradford, David Andrew of Bradford and Scott Andrew of Michigan, one sister; Terry Ellen Legrand of Dallas, Texas, four grandchildren; Zack Henley of Houston, Texas, Luke Pafford of Houston, Texas, Hunter Mathis of Bradford, and Kalie Mathis of Bradford, one great-grandchild; Caddy Henley of Houston, Texas, numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, September 15, 2014 at Possum Grape Church of Christ. Interment will be in Coffeyville Cemetery.
