Bradley K. Thompson Jr., 86 of Fort Smith passed away Friday, Sept. 12, 2014. He was born August 15, 1928 in Fort Smith to the late Bradley and Stella Thompson Sr. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and a real estate broker. Mr. Thompson was also president of the Jaycee's, the downtown Optimist Club, served on the board of the Girls Shelter, a member of the UCT, a member of the Army National Guard, a leader for Troop 2 of the Boy Scouts of America and past Exalted Ruler two times at the Elk's Lodge. He was a former advertising manager for Arcade Furniture store for 27 years. Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014 at the Roebuck Chapel at First United Methodist Church. The family will greet guests following the service in the Narthex of the church. Mr. Thompson is survived by his wife, Margaret Thompson; three daughters, Janice Weeden of Tulsa, Toni Thompson and Donna Jamell, both of Fort Smith; two sons, Kim Thompson and his wife, Chilla, and Scott Thompson and his wife, Carol, all of Fort Smith; his sister, Alma Lois Osborne, and her husband, James, of Tulsa and his brother, Jim Thompson, and his wife, Bonnie, also of Tulsa. Mr. Thompson is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
