Steven Larry Dye

Steven Larry Dye, 43, of Judsonia, died Thursday, Sept. 11, 2014. He was born March 9, 1971 in Searcy, the son of Larry Joe and Peggy Stevens Dye. Steven is survived by his mother, Peggy Dye of Judsonia; his fiancé, Betty Cheek of Bradford; a sister, Melody Armstrong and her husband Michael of Fallon, Nev.; a niece, Ashley Nicole Armstrong; two nephews, Mark and Matthew Armstrong. He is preceded in death by his father, Larry Dye; and his grandparents. Steven was a Master Mason, and a Past Grand Patron of the Eastern Star of Arkansas. He was a member of Valley Baptist Church. Visitation will be Sunday from 3-5 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home of Searcy. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Judsonia. Arrangements are by Powell Funeral Home of Searcy. www.powellfuneralhome.net.
