Inez Whatley

Inez F. Petty Whatley, 83, of Benton passed away Sept. 13, 2014. She was born Oct. 15, 1930 in Texas. Mrs. Whatley was a homemaker and a member of New Life Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clara and John Petty, four sisters and one brother. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, A. G. Whatley; two sons, Richard Whatley and Sonny Whatley (Ann); two daughters, Frances Wisely (Scotty) and Patricia Woods (Richard); seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 15 at Ashby Funeral Home. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16 at Ashby Funeral Home, with burial at New Rosemont Cemetery. Bro.
