George W. Brown

George W. Brown, 71, passed away peacefully on Sept. 9, 2014 in Sacramento, Calif. His survivors are Gladys C. Brown; daughter, Cecile Brown-Madden; son, George A. Brown; step-daughter, Shelain Evans; his sister, Barbara Brandon; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; a niece and a nephew; and a host of family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, Sept. 22, 2014, 10-10:30 a.m. at Ruffin and Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 S. Chester St., Little Rock, Ark. (501) 372-1305. Interment will follow with honors at the Arkansas State Veteran Cemetery, 1501 Maryland Ave., North Little Rock, Ark. Repast will be at Friendly Chapel Church of the Nazarene in North Little Rock, Ark.
