Ethelene "Jean" Reynolds, 99, of Little Rock passed away Sunday, September 21, 2014. She was born July 27, 1915 in Saline County, Arkansas to the late William Marion and Annie Lou Hale Haynes. Jean was a member of East Union Missionary Baptist Church. In recent years she has attended St. Luke United Methodist Church. She was an Avon sales representative for 55 years. During World War II she worked at the Arkansas Ordinance Plant in Jacksonville making ammunition. She loved to travel and loved sports, especially basketball, which she played in her early adult life. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Howard Reynolds; three brothers, Lilburn, Edd and Claud Haynes and three sisters, Mildred Donham, Ophelia Wilkerson and Erma Wright. She is survived by her daughter, Lanita Reynolds, of Little Rock; sister, Peggy Harris, and brother, Robert Haynes, both of East End, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Memorials may be made to Bethel Cemetery Association, c/o Kathy Brown, North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72114. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday at Smith – North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery in North Grant County.
