Loving Husband, Dad, Gramps, Uncle, Brother and Faithful Veteran, James Taylor White (age 64), former resident of Woodworth, La., born April 9, 1950 in Cape Girardeau, Mo., died September 21, 2014 in Conway, Arkansas surrounded by loved ones. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Cheryl Ann White; daughter, Eva Pauline Windsor and her husband, James Kevin Windsor, and their three children (his grandchildren), Alia, Alexander and Avery Windsor, all of Conway. He is also survived by seven brothers and sisters: Vella Robison of Crestview, Fla., Sonny White of Las Vegas, Nev., Hubert White of Neosho, Mo., Levonda Free of Carrollton, Ga., Marilyn Foster of Tennessee, Gary White of Bartlesville, Okla., and Debbie Johnson of Whitewater, Colo.; a brother-in-law, Steve Kotch and his three children, Steve Kotch Jr., Chasta Irvin all of Conway, and Kristina Naber of Lexington, S.C.; and many nieces and nephews. SMSgt James Taylor White served our country from 1969 to 1993 in the United States Air Force until he was honorably discharged. He was stationed in Altus, Okla., Homestead, Fla., Korat, Thailand, Merced, Calif., Ramstein, Germany, Torrejon, Spain and England AFB, La. A Military Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 25, at Little Rock National Cemetery on Confederate Blvd. A procession to the cemetery from Griffin Leggett Funeral Home, 1751 Dave Ward Drive, Conway will depart at 10 a.m. He will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Va., as a final resting place and tribute to his loyal service and love for his country. The family would like to extend sincere gratitude to Jeanie McCorkle of Home Instead, Denise White of Arkansas Department of Health and Arkansas Hospice for the care and concern they showed "Mr. White" during his last months of care.
