Goldia Isabel Garner

GOLDIA ISABEL GARNER, 84, of Jacksonville, Ark. passed away Friday, Sept.r 26, 2014. She was born April 6, 1930 in Drasco, Ark. to Foster and Annie (Horn) Liles. She was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Korean War and was stationed in Yokohama, Japan. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond Eugene Garner and three brothers. She is survived by her three sons, Andy Garner of Scott, Ark., Foster Garner of Conway, Ark. and William E. Cook of Shirley, Ark.; five grandchildren, Candia Ann Cook, Jennifer Plackson, Jessica Vance, Ryan Garner and Rachel Garner; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Joyce Coffman of N.C. and a sister-in-law, Myrna Liles of Fairfield Bay, Ark. and many friends. Memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel Clinton, Ark., with Rev. Roy Edwards officiating.
