Helen Ruth McDonald Dover

Helen Ruth McDonald Dover, 95, of St. Bernard's Village, Jonesboro, Ark., formerly of Paragould, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. She was born on May 14, 1919 in Paragould; she was a retired math teacher with Paragould School District for 17 years; a member of First United Methodist Church; and she lived in Paragould until 2006 when she moved to St. Bernard's Village. After retirement from teaching, she devoted her time to her family. She dearly loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Survivors include: son, David (Marcia) Dover of Longview, Texas; daughter, Ann (John) Honeycutt; grandchildren: John Jr. (Shannon) Honeycutt of Ft. Worth, Texas, Josh (Danielle) Honeycutt of Paragould, Amanda (Nicholas) Sarver of Hot Springs Village, Ark., Megan (Bobby) Kirby of Longview, Ashley Dover of Dallas, Texas; great-grandchildren: Anna, Caroline, Elizabeth Honeycutt of Ft. Worth; Cooper, Lili, Holland Sarver of Hot Springs Village; Carter, John David Honeycutt of Paragould; Kennedy and Audrey Kirby of Longview. She was preceded in death by her husband, Buford Dover; parents, E.F. and Ethel McDonald; and one brother, Frank McDonald. Graveside service will be at 12 noon, Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at the Linwood Cemetery with Rev. John Fleming officiating. Visitation will be from 10 until 11:45 a.m., Wednesday at the Mitchell Funeral Home. Memorials to First United Methodist Church, P.O.
