Carole Kay Welch

Carole Kay Welch, 80, of Maumelle, formerly of North Little Rock and Fordyce, passed away April 6, 2015. She was born August 30, 1934 in Omaha, Neb. Carole spent her years lovingly caring for her family and others in her life. She most recently enjoyed time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She was known as "Grammy" to her grandkids. Preceding her in death were her parents and a brother. Those remaining to cherish her memory include her husband, Gary, of 60+ years; her children: Wendy Welch (John Harris) of Scott, Scott Welch (Brenda) of Little Rock, Stacia Grimes (Scott) of Little Rock, and Carrie Welch Palmer of Little Rock; nine grandchildren: Aaron, Casey, Ashley, Cara, Nicholas, Jeff, William, Sam, and Seth; and sisters, Betty Tipton of California and Doris McCarty of Florida. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Ark. 72211, (501) 224-8300.
