Nancy Louise Nolen

Nancy Louise (Gattis) Nolen passed away April 7, 2015. Born in Oklahoma City Sept. 4, 1931 to the late Clarence and Julia A. Gattis. She is predeceased by husband, Donald Henry Nolen; brothers, Terry and John F. Gattis, and infant granddaughter, Tara Sue Lowder. Nancy is survived by daughter Stevanna (Don) Cherepski of Maumelle, Ark. grandson Jason (Jessica) Lowder; great-granddaughter, Athena Lowder; and great-grandson, Toudy Lowder all of North Little Rock, Ark.; special nieces, Julia (Rick) Mark; Robin Dodd of Durant, Okla. and Cynthia (Tony) Massengale of Hiram, Ga.; five step-grandchildren and nine step-great-grandchildren. Nancy was a homemaker and retired employee of Sears. She was devoted to her family and friends and loved cooking for family gatherings. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in North Little Rock. The family would like to express their deepest appreciation for the compassionate caregivers at Gentiva Hospice, House of Three and Elmcroft. Visitation at North Little Rock Funeral Home Friday, April 10 at 6 p.m. followed by a rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral mass Saturday, April 11 at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park, North Little Rock. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alzthiemer's Arkansas or Arkansas Rice Depot Food for Kids Program.
