Ella Ouita Spears

Mrs Ella Ouita Spears, of Camden, Ark., went to be with The Lord on Thursday, April 9, 2015. She was born Jan. 4, 1930 in Fountain Hill, Ark. to the late Gill Martin and Estelle McClain Martin. She retired from General Dynamics in Camden where she worked for 23 years. She was a faithful member of the Fairview Road Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Bill Spears; two sons, Martin and wife Jayne, Steve and wife Cindy and one daughter, Deborah and husband Rob; one granddaughter, Megan and husband Hunter; and five grandsons, Josh, Hunter and Will Wheeler and Jordan and Austin Spears. She is also survived by two sisters Ruth Potts and husband Bill and Shirley Robinson all of Texas; and two brothers, Travis and LaVert Martin of Texas; and a host of family and friends who loved her very much. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gill Martin and Estelle McClain Martin; six brothers, Quinton, Bill, Luther, Vance, LaDon and Allen; and one sister, Gerildean. Visitation will be held Monday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Proctor Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at Fairview Road Baptist Church with Danny Crowder officiating.
