George W. E. Beckwith

George W.E. Beckwith, age 76, of Lonsdale, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2015. He was born September 8, 1938 in Owensville, Arkansas. Mr. Beckwith retired from the U.S. Air Force and was a member of Owensville Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Matilda Beckwith and two sons, Norman and William Beckwith. He is survived by his wife, Judy Beckwith of Lonsdale; son, Kevin Beckwith and wife Kim of Lonsdale; daughter, April Knowles and husband Chuck of Lebanon, Missouri; grandson, Ryan Lee Beckwith; granddaughter, Stephanie Pollock (Tyler); great-grandson, Houston Dean Pollock; five brothers, Archie Beckwith (Shirley), James Beckwith (JoAnn), Richard Beckwith, Tommy Beckwith & Chuck Beckwith (Donna) and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Monday, April 13, at Owensville Baptist Church with funeral services beginning at 11 a.m. Bro. JD Courtney will be officiating.
