Geneva Howell Brown
GENEVA HOWELL BROWN, age 84, of Maumelle, went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 10, 2015. She was born in White County, Tenn. and graduated from White County High School in 1949.
Geneva is preceded in death by her parents, Lunford A. Howell and Amanda Thomas Howell, and her son, Charles A. Brown. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Murray A. Brown; sons: Roger A. Brown (Judy) of Rowlett, Texas; Dr. John M. Brown (Lynette) of North Little Rock, Ark.; Jimmy K. Brown (Carolyn) of The Woodlands, Texas, along with six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; and her sister, Lucy Weber of Houston, Texas.
She lived in Texas for 50 years and in Maumelle, Arkansas for 11 years; most recently at Stoneheaven Assisted Living and at The Lakes at Maumelle Health and Rehab.
Geneva was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend; she worked for a short time as a secretary at The Southland Corporation in Dallas, Texas, but her main mission in life was to be a good loving wife and mother. She was a member of the Pleasant Valley Church of Christ.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 16, 2015 in the Chapel of Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Ark., (501) 224-8300 with Mr. Nick Hamilton officiating. Visitation will be from 6 p.m.-8 p.m., Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at the Funeral Home.
