Elizabeth "Betty" Moore

Elizabeth "Betty" Moore, 90 of Barling passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015. She was born June 21, 1924 in New Albany, IN to the late Joseph and Evelyn Valent. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fort Smith, a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II and a Homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband Maurice "Mo" Moore and her daughter Mary Martha Moore. Funeral Services will be 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fort Smith. Committal service will be 2 p.m. at the Calvary Cemetery in Hot Springs, Ark. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith. Betty is survived by her son Henry Moore and his wife Mary of Ft. Smith and four grandchildren; Daniel Moore of Ft. Smith, Katherine Moore of Little Rock, Phillip Moore of Rogers, and Margaret Ellen Moore of Ft. Smith. Public Viewing will be Tuesday, April 14, 2015 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. at Edwards Funeral Home.
