Wilda Elizabeth Stroman passed peacefully from this world on Wednesday, April 15, 2015. She was born on January 12, 1928 in Monroe, Louisiana to the late Finos Guy and Maude Amelia Wood. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Shirley Conatser of California, her granddaughter Tiffany Wright and her soul mate and husband of 60 years, Louis Brock Stroman Sr. originally of Magnolia, Arkansas with who she established Stroman's Inc., which has been in business for almost 50 years and where they both worked side-by-side until their retirement. Wilda was known for her loving and kind spirit, her strong will and quick mind, and how much she adored and cherished all of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Wanda Males of California and five children, Sheryl (Michael) Funderburg of Alexander, Louis Brock (David Kelley) Stroman, Jr. of Mayflower, Mark (Becky) Stroman of Little Rock, Alan (Keli) Stroman of Little Rock, and Tamara Stroman of Maumelle. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren, Sean (Jana) Funderburg, Christian Funderburg, Ashley Funderburg, Megan Stroman, Amanda (Richard) Dean, Jeremy (Logan) Wright, Kristen (Dennis) Hoover, Justin (Erin) Stroman, Andrew Stroman, Leanne (Chris) Baribeau, and Amanda Smith. Wilda was also fortunate enough to have 12 great-grandchildren: Larkin, Haven, Conor, and Piper Funderburg; Mia Hedstrom, Henry Dean, Aria Hoover, Brock Wright, Maggie Pemberton, Annalise Ellis, Ciel and Gray Baribeau. Funeral Services will be 1:30 p.m., Saturday April 18, at Griffin-Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 7724 Landers Road in North Little Rock, Arkansas, with Randy Eddy-McCain officiating. Private family burial will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Friday April 17 at Griffin-Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Park. The family would like to thank Arkansas Hospice Little Rock Inpatient Center at CHI St. Vincent Infirmary for the compassionate and gentle care they provided Wilda and her family during her final days. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorials be made to Arkansas Hospice, 14 Park Stone Circle, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72116, or Open Door Community Church, 709 Wesley Drive, Sherwood, Arkansas 72120.
