SCOTT MCKENZIE SNIDER, 47, passed away suddenly of natural causes on Thursday, April 16, 2015. He was born in Paragould, Ark. on November 21, 1967, to R. Edward and Betty Lynn Snider of Arkadelphia. He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Mary Keathley Snider and their three children, Keathley (12), Mary McKenzie (10), and Pearson (7) of Little Rock; his brother, Steve Snider and wife Beth, and their children, Jack, Chase and Shelby Snider, from Little Rock; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Bobby and Elizabeth Rehm and their daughter, Eliza, from Russellville; and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Matthew and Margaret Benson of Fayetteville; and his mother-in-law, Sarah Keathley of Danville. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Buford "Bood" Keathley of Danville. He was raised in Arkadelphia where he graduated high school and attended Ouachita Baptist University. Scott was an active participant in Tiger Tunes, was a member of Rho Sigma Social Club, and a member of the OBU Alumni Advisory Board. He worked for several years in the pharmaceutical industry and just celebrated his 20th anniversary with VHA as the Vice President of Market Management and Supply Networks. He was an active member of Fellowship Bible Church where he served on the vocal ministry team, led a Community Group and an Authentic Manhood Small Group, and volunteered in numerous other activities. Scott's life reflected the love of Jesus in every way. He was an amazing husband, compassionate father, and friend to many. He was known for his unconditional kindness to every person he met. He took everything in life and made it fun. He was an unbelievably caring friend with the biggest heart anyone could imagine. He loved the Lord and his faith was as big as his heart. He was passionate for worshipping the Lord and spent his entire life blessing others with his God-given voice as he led worship services and sang in weddings for friends and loved ones. Scott loved his wife, Mary, with all of his heart and was known for modeling Christ's leadership in their home by rejecting passivity, accepting responsibility, leading courageously, and investing eternally. He was an amazing dad who adored his children and spent many hours coaching them in numerous sports. He taught them and their teammates the importance of Biblical character based on Biblical principles and left a Godly legacy that will continue in all of the lives he touched. On Monday, April 20, 2015, a visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. at Fellowship Bible Church, 1401 Kirk Rd., Little Rock, Ark. 72223. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. in the Worship Center.
