Twyla Ann Forga, age 73, of Hot Springs, died Wednesday, April 15. She was born on May 24, 1941 in Glenwood, the daughter of Dewey Lee Forga and Maggie Lou Short Forga. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Dewitt Forga, Charles Forga and Danny Forga; five sisters, Juanita Tidwell, Ruby Peterson, Jackie Dollar, Bobby Wright and Joy Barrett; and four nephews, James West, Tal Forga, Victor Wright and Randy Forga. Twyla graduated Caddo Gap High School in 1959 and received her BA in sociology, a minor in psychology and a MSSAC in counseling from Henderson State University. She retired from the Arkansas State Department of Human Services as a licensed counselor and social worker. Twyla absolutely worshiped her nieces and nephews, Judy Nutt, Kathy Polk, LaDonna Bornhoft, Shelly Arnold, Tonya Boone, Tamra Tankersley, Barry Wright, Ken Forga, Dan Forga, Tracy Forga, Cody Forga and Dutch Forga. She adored her great nieces and great nephews as well. She felt that all of the above were her own children. Twyla thought the girls were prettier and the boys were more handsome than the many stars in existence. Services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, in the Mount Tabor Community Church with Bro. J.B. Evans and Bro. Lance Arguello officiating. Interment will be in the Mount Tabor Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Saturday evening. Pallbearers will be Barry Wright, Ken Forga, Dan Forga, Tracy Forga, Cody Forga, James Bornhoft and Jack Bornhoft. Honorary pallbearers will be Aline Henderson, Ann Smith, Rae Lena, Wanda Smith, Jimmy Polk, Betty Oliver and the Caddo Gap High School Class of 1959. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
