Eugene Keeling

Eugene Keeling, age 94, of Rogers, died April 19, 2015, at his home. He was born in Rogers on April 10, 1921, to the late H.L. and Minnie (Dowell) Keeling. He served his country in the US Army during World War II, serving in the European theater of operations. He worked for more than 35 years for the US Postal service in a number of capacities. He also attended First Baptist Church of Rogers. Survivors include his daughter, Eubonna Schmidt and husband Ronnie; grandson, Rick Schmidt and wife Vicki; great-grandchildren, Brooke and Ryan Schmidt, all of North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Jean Keeling; and five siblings. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 21, 2015, at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Rollins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Benton County Memorial Park.
