Juanita Reeves

Juanita Reeves of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on April 18, 2015. She was born on April 18, 1925 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Perry and Mary Anna Varner. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church in Little Rock. Juanita loved her family, animals, and enjoyed horse racing. She is preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Dell Reeves; one daughter, Nancy Johnson; one sister, Anna Lou Nicholson. She is survived by one sister, Nancy Scruggs; one daughter, Mary Annette Reeves (Gary Tracy); one step-son, Eugene Reeves; two granddaughters, Lisa Carrey and Laura Carrell; three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dr. Jim Hazlewood for giving her a productive life during the last decade of living with Alzheimer's. Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Little Rock National Cemetery at 12 noon.
