Laura Marie Watterson

Laura Marie Watterson, 55, of Redfield died Sunday at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock. She was born November 11, 1959 in Minot, N.D. to Jerome and Audrey Pfiefer Weigel. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pine Bluff and was an X-ray Technician. Survivors include her parents, Jerome and Audrey Weigel of Minot, N.D.; husband, Jeff Watterson of Redfield; 1 son, Tyler McCarty of Jonesboro; one daughter, Laura Lee Owens Welch of White Hall; two brothers, Jerry Weigel of Wellington, Colo. and Brian Weigel of Minot, N.D.; two sisters, Melinda Weigel Boehler of Minot, ND and Doreen Weigel Hudspeth of Cabot; five grandchildren, Raylee Shows, River Shows, Hayden Welch, Kyndal McCarty and Drake McCarty. Funeral Services are 2 p.m. Thursday at Griffin Funeral Chapel. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Rosary preceding at 5:30 p.m. Burial at Hickory Grove Cemetery near Star City. Pallbearers are Tyler Griffin, Mark Watterson, Holden Murphy, Bryce Hudspeth, Ryan Socia and River Shows. Arrangements by Griffin Funeral Service in Star City.
