Alider Harris

Mother Alider W. Harris, 82, of Little Rock transitioned peacefully into eternity April 15, 2015. She was a retired caregiver, and she dearly loved her family. She served faithfully on the Mothers' Board and had been a longtime member of Pilgrim Valley Baptist Church, 1821 South Wolfe Street. Left with cherished memories are her sons, Fred "Al" (Elmyra), David (Karren), Michael "Mitch" (Barbara), and Sidney (Cheryl) Harris; daughters, Stella Harris Sanders, Paulia Harris, and Teresa Harris Wallace (Harold); 27 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mother Harris will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 24, at Pilgrim Valley. Services are entrusted to Walton GateWay Funeral Chapel, "Your Entrance to Eternity", 2405 South Gaines, LR, Ark. No family hour but open visitation will be today from 12:30-5:30 p.m. at the funeral home, 376-7188.
