Corey J. Habererger Whitmer

Corey J. Haberberger Whitmer, age 41, of Jacksonville, Ark., formerly of Council Bluffs, passed away April 16, 2015, at his residence. He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Don and Marge Haberberger; granny, Lola Whitmer; and uncle, Royce Larsen. He is survived by his parents, Patti and George Whitmer; sisters, Stacie Whitmer and Stephanie (Jay) Newell; grandpa, William Whitmer Jr.; aunts, Jan and Rick Cook and Wanda and Scott Habighorst; uncles, Brian Haberberger and Bill and Ann Whitmer; niece and nephew, Flannery and Liam Newell; cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation is today, Thursday, 5 to 8 p.m. at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home in Council Bluffs, Iowa and funeral service Friday, 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment is in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family.
