John Edward Knudsen

JOHN EDWARD KNUDSEN, of Jacksonville, was born October 10, 1938 in Greely County, Neb. and passed away on April 25, 2015 in North Little Rock. He is survived by his loving wife, Martha Hillman Knudsen and his children: Bonnie Connelly (Mark) of Sherwood, William Knudsen of North Little Rock, Robin Moody (Rob) of Sherwood, Jerry Knudsen (Barbara) of Judsonia and Connie Snider (Bill) of Judsonia, and Clayton Knudsen (Dee) of Keller, Texas. Other survivors include two brothers, Jim Knudsen (Lorraine) and Raymond Knudsen (Roseanne) and two sisters Dorothy Whitt (Bill) and Betty Ann Lillie, as well as 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Knudsen was a fun and free spirit who enjoyed practical jokes and kidding around with his friends and family. He loved to travel and enjoyed museums and going to flea markets. He collected all types of skulls and enjoyed science and technology. He was a Navy veteran and worked as a Heavy Machine operator.
