EDWARD JOSEPH HEATER, 90, passed away on July 31, 2015. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. to the late Edward and Marie Rosebuckle Heater on Feb. 16, 1925. Edward was a World War II U. S. Army Veteran, serving in Italy. He was retired from the U.S. Post Office and enjoyed gardening and woodworking. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sherwood. Edward is survived by his wife of 68 years, Ruby Hale Heater; four sons: Edward Heater (Paula) of El Paso, Benson Heater (Kelli) of Bartlett, Tenn., John Heater and Timothy Heater, both of Sherwood; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters: Marie Henkel, Delia Roszkowski, and Catherine Ward.
