Melissa Ann Hand Hight

Melissa Ann Hand Hight, 37, (of Lakewood, Colo.) passed on last Saturday in Dumas, Ark. She is the beloved daughter of James Hand and Carla Cook; a loving mother to Justice Marie Hand Martinez and Jackson James Hand Max. Melissa was a kindhearted, bright, and humorous person; her smile would light up a room. She was a Christian, medical student, and served in the Army National Guard/Reserves, Colorado and in Iraq. As a Soldier, she enjoyed serving her country. She loved her family and friends. Services pending her return back home to Colorado. Services, Honor Guard, and Graveside Committal will be at Ft. Logan National Cemetery Chapel, Denver. Our hearts are so heavy and filled with questions for we miss her so dearly. Her memories will be cherished by Grandfather, Robert Cook, Parents, Children, Siblings, William Lamphier, Elizabeth Leabch, and many other relatives and friends.
