Joseph Merle Hopkins

Joseph Merle Hopkins, age 73, of Judsonia died Saturday, August 1, 2015. Merle was born at Searcy, November 16, 1941, the son of Marion and Maggie Wycough Hopkins. Surviving is his wife, Margaret Chapman Hopkins; Sons, Eddie Hopkins (Missy), Todd Hopkins (Becky), of Judsonia, and Flynn Hopkins (Hollie) of Pangburn; Daughters, Renee Reynolds (Wendy) of Judsonia and Amy Tuggle (Bart) of Searcy. Brother, Danny Hopkins (Mary) of Judsonia; grandchildren, Jesse Cockrum (Brianna), Chase and Macie Hopkins, Sheena Swindle (Ty), Jarrett Reynolds (Tasha) and Aaron Tuggle; great-grandchildren, Kayden and Kinsley Swindle, Natalie Kellems and Tripp Reynolds. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Powell Funeral Home Chapel.
