Lora Elaine Mott

Lora Elaine Mott, 66, died Friday, July 31, 2015 at her home. She was born March 24, 1949 in Marked Tree a daughter of the late Lawrence Ellsworth and Isobelle Burrows Osmon. She was retired from the State of Arkansas Office of Child Support Enforcement and was a member of the Worden Baptist Church. She was active in the Arkansas State Employees Association where she had served as Secretary. Mrs. Mott was a strong Christian woman who loved her family deeply. She enjoyed flowers and gardening. She is survived by her devoted husband of 42 years, Chuck Mott; 4 children, Elaine Deann Judkins (Bruce) of Judsonia, Christine Durham of Judsonia, Carrie Lynn Davidson (Mike) of Bald Knob and Michael Harrison Mott (Jill) of Goose Creek, South Carolina; 2 brothers, Harold Osmon (Wanda) of Mt. View and David Osmon (Nancy) of Mt. Home; sister, Margaret Childers (Bill) of Flint, Michigan; 11 grandchildren, Lacy Quinn, Joshua Kuhn, Bryan Spears, Justin Smith, Megan Durham, Lauren Mooney, Hunter Davidson, Chloe Mott, Lydia Mott, Charis Mott and Julia Mott; nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence "Sonny" Osmon. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home. Services will be held Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Worden Baptist Church with Bro. Jerry Goodwin and Bro. Paul Bearfield officiating. Interment will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery.
