Sylvia was a homemaker and farmer. She delighted in cooking for her family and always baked the favorite dessert of whichever child visited her. Her home was a gathering place for relatives and neighborhood children living along Cypress Creek in the Pea Ridge Community where many memories of her thoughtfulness were created. By example, she taught her children to be industrious and honest. She possessed determination and a remarkable "can-do" attitude. Until 2011, with the help of her devoted son, Dennis, Sylvia was able to remain in the home she'd lived in since 1947. Although difficult at first, she soon adjusted to life at Trinity Village Medical Center in Pine Bluff and made the most of her remaining years, as she'd done over her lifetime. She will be missed!
