Yvonne Bose Baker

Yvonne Bose Baker, 68, of Rogers, Ark. passed away Monday, August 3, 2015 at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Ark. She was born August 27, 1946 in Cordell, Oklahoma to Edward and Margaret Bose. Yvonne graduated from Clinton High School in Clinton, Okla. and Southwestern State College in Weatherford, Okla. She was previously a full time substitute teacher in the Rogers Elementary School System and of the Baptist faith. Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents; uncle and aunt, Fred and Mary Bose Wagner; sisters, Anna Marie Bose, Lucille Bose Streeb and brothers, Victor Bose, Donald Bose, Edward Bose Jr. and Robert Bose. Survivors include husband of 47 years, J.L. Baker; daughter, Melissa Novak and husband, Stan of North Andover, Mass.; son, James Baker of Rogers; two grandchildren, Zack Novak of North Andover, Amanda Novak of North Andover, Mass.; sisters, Dolores Bose Messick of Tulsa, Okla., Marjorie Bose of Weatherford, Okla., brother, Jim Bose and wife, Brenda of Stillwater, Okla.; sisters in-law, Ernestine Bose of Bessie, Okla., Roberta Bose of Ft. Worth, Texas , Janice Guy and husband, Jim of Yukon, Okla. and many nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made in honor of Yvonne Baker to the Rogers Public Library, 711 N. Dixieland Road, Rogers, Ark. 72758 or to Circle of Life Legacy Village, 1201 NE Legacy Parkway, Bentonville, Ark. 72712. Private services will be held at a later date.
