Amos Charles Johnson

Amos Charles Johnson, Jr., age 71 of Searcy, died Saturday, August 1, 2015 in Searcy. He was born October 17, 1943 in Searcy to Amos William Thomas Johnson and Hattie Charles Day Johnson. He is survived by his brother, David Johnson and wife Alice of Searcy; sister, Martha Anderson and husband Willie of Rome, Georgia; brother, James Johnson and wife Evelyn of Woodbridge, Virginia; step-daughter, Tanya Smith of Searcy; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, Amos and Hattie Johnson; sister, Claudia Hadley; and brother, Ralph Johnson. Visitation is Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home.
