Nicholas Anthony Castro

Nicholas Anthony Castro sailed on to his big ocean on Saturday, August 1st. He was born on April 30, 1959. There was never an adventure too big for him. Nick retired as a decorated Arkansas State Police trooper, then he focused on the things he loved. His incredible carpentry skills, sailing, and playing the blues. He had a contagious laugh and smile, and a free spirit. He is survived by his parents, Al and Shelia Castro, siblings, Tony and Renee and his children, Kyle and Aimee. As well as, one grandson, Everett. He was also survived by his loving sweetheart, Terry Apple, who was there with him every step of the way. His celebration of life service will be casual and held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Fayetteville on Saturday the 15th, at 2 p.m. Services were provided by Epting Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
