D.W. Coffman

D.W. Coffman of Searcy, Ark., departed this earth and joined his heavenly family on Aug. 4, 2015. He was born March 24, 1925 in Keo, Ark., to Daniel Coffman and Susie Connally Coffman. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Ethrie Coffman and Alton Coffman; one daughter, Sheila Coffman; and ex-wife Johnnie Sue Coffman. D.W is survived by his wife of 33 years, Martha Coffman; daughters, Debra Atchison of Hot Springs Village, Ark., Cheryl Bruns (Dale) and Donna Franks (Roger) both of Conway, Ark.; step-daughters, Becky Webberson (Paul) of Bentonville, Ark., Ellen (George) Stauber of Little Rock, Ark.; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. D.W. attended school in Hector, Ark., and received a Business Degree from Arkansas Tech. He retired from Arkansas Power and Light Company as a customer service representative in Conway, Ark. He was Navy veteran having served in both WWII and the Korean War. Visitation will be held Friday, August 7, 2015 from 5-7 p.m. at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home, located at 2616 S. Main Street, Searcy, Ark.
