Survived by seven children, Charles (Virginia) Cox, Vickie McGaniel, Cynthia Whitfiel, Avery(Terressa) Whitley, Gail Whitley, Darryl Whitley, Sheila (Larry) Fells; two brothers, Justus Ready, Samuel Ready; two sisters, Versie Sampson, Leoma Ready; fourteen grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren.
