Carole Elizabeth Smith

Carole Elizabeth Smith, age 66, of Conway, passed away on Aug. 6, 2015. She was the beloved daughter of John Edward and Josephine "Jay" Smith. She was born in Passaic, N.J. on Sept. 29, 1948 and raised in the Catholic faith. Carole enjoyed life, especially trips to Hot Springs, Branson, San Antonio, and lunch at Mike's Place. The family takes comfort in knowing that she is at rest with the Lord and is no longer in pain. She was preceded in death by her father. Carole is survived by her mother; Jay, sister; Linda (Bill) Hays, niece; Lisa (Jay) Homburger, nephew; Kevin (Angie) Hays, three great-nieces, and one great-nephew. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2015 at Christ the King Catholic Church, in Little Rock with burial to follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Independent Living Services, P.O. Box 1070, Conway, Ark. 72033.
