Joseph Franklin "Joe" Hutter, 86, of Springdale, died Thursday, Aug. 6, 2015 at his home. He was born Aug. 7, 1928 in Mount Pulaksi, Ill. to Joseph and Lydia Maxheimer Hutter. Joe was an accomplished horseman and trainer beginning at the age of twelve gaiting horses. He served in the Army during Korean War and then returned to his training occupation. His career allowed him to travel throughout the country including a job in Springdale for the Rodeo of the Ozarks where he met and then later married Patricia "Pat" Parsons Hutter on Dec. 9, 1955. The couple enjoyed the same interests and lived a short time in Sherman, Texas before returning to Springdale where Joe worked for 18 years at Parsons Feed Store and continued his horse training. He was devoted to his family and loved spending time with his grand and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed sports and listening the Cardinal baseball on the radio. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Mike Hutter and wife Lesia of Springdale, Melinda Yates and husband Dwayne of Pea Ridge; two sisters both of Bellingham, Wash.; seven grandchildren, Jeremy Hutter, Kim Sieber & husband Jason, Casey Brandburg & wife Whitney, Kevin Yates, Kailey Hutter, Denver Yates, Carson Yates; and six great-grandchildren, Dayton Sieber, Dylan Sieber, Desirae Sieber, Braydon Hutter, Makayla Hutter and Madison Brandenburg. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, August 10, at Cross Church in Springdale. A private family burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Heritage Funeral Home, online guest book at www.heritageofnwa.com. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association NWA, 108 E.
