William Clay "Bill" Brazil passed from his earthly life to be with his Lord on August 10, 2015 in Conway, Ark. Born November 23, 1942 to the late Clay and Velma Brazil in Des Moines, Iowa. His youth was spent in Morrilton, AR playing ball. Affectionately known as "BoBo", Bill graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1964, where he was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. After obtaining his business degree he attended law school at the U of A. On August 22, 1964 he married Suzanne Roberts of Conway. They stayed in Fayetteville where he practiced law for a year. They then moved to Conway where he continued his practice. In addition to private practice he served as Conway City Attorney, and Prosecuting Attorney in the 20th Judicial District. He taught commercial law at the University of Arkansas and the University of Central Arkansas. He was a member of the following: American Arkansas Bar Association, Arkansas Bar Association, American Trial Lawyers Association, and Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association. He served on the House of Delegates of the Arkansas Bar Association and as a member of the Executive Council of the Arkansas Bar Association and Arkansas School board association. He served on the Board of directors of First National Bank of Conway for several years and on the Board of Directors of Centennial Bank from its inception. He served for many years on the Board of Community Services, Inc., of which his father was a founding board member. He coached youth baseball and basketball teams. He donated many hours of legal service to those in need, and he was a member of Central Baptist Church of Conway. William is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Suzanne; his son, William Clay (Christy), his daughter, Amy Totten and his grandson, David, all of Conway. He is also survived by his brother James (Margaret) of Arkadelphia, Ark. There will be a private family service. Memorials may be made to Oak Grove Cemetery, P.O.
