Ann Marie Manos

Ann Marie Manos, 73, passed away on August 9, 2015 in Rogers. She was born on November 26, 1941 in Stuttgart, Arkansas, to the late Casper Scherm and La Von Arredondo. She was the loving wife of Gene Manos. Ann retired from Wal-Mart, after 21 years at the home office. She was past president of the American Legion Women's Axillary, Post 25. She also was a past Alderperson on the Gravette City Council for 7 1/2 years. She enjoyed sewing and doing crafts. She won a purple ribbon, the 2nd time she entered the X-Stitch competition at the Benton County Fair. She was also an avid cook and loved canning. Ann is survived by her husband of Bella Vista; son, Tim Vair of Ft. Smith; daughters, Katie Ann Ellis of Ft. Smith, Misty Jones of Oklahoma, and Lisa Diehl of Florida; brother, Paul Scherm and Jack Scherm both of Stuttgart, Arkansas; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, Oscar Arredondo, daughter, Laurie Marie Vair and sister, Cecilia Anita Scherm. A memorial service will be on Friday, August 14, 2015 at 1 p.m. in Callison-Lough Funeral Home Chapel, Bentonville.
