Elsie Tollene Ruscin

Elsie Tollene Updegraff Ruscin, age 87, of Little Rock went to be with her Lord on Monday, August 10, 2015. She was born April 17, 1928 in Denver, Colorado. Ms. Ruscin was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Little Rock. She enjoyed life and spending time with her family and always on the go. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and mischievous aunt. She was preceded in death by her husband Steve Ruscin, and an infant brother age 3 weeks unknown name. She is survived by her son, Nelson Ruscin and his wife Jackie of Searcy, her daughter, Carol Ruscin of Little Rock, two grandchildren; Derek Ruscin of Fayettville and Cara Ruscin of Alexander, one sister, Christine Saccomano, several nieces and nephews, and a dear lifelong family friend Cathy Norris. Her last year was spent as a resident of Robinson Nursing and Rehab Center where she was cared for with much love and compassion by the staff there. She enjoyed being cared for by them and her family. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Friday, August 14, 2015 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home with Reverend Monsignor Francis Malone officiating.
