Gwendolyn Westbrook

Gwendolyn Diane Westbrook, 50, of Kensett, had a glorious reunion with God, her Heavenly Father; her father, Jerrell Wayne Westbrook Sr.; her grandparents, James and Orpha Westbrook and Lenard and Inez Layne August 10, 2015; and is walking in a new, perfect body on streets of gold with Jesus. She leaves on this earth, her mother, Sharon Ruth Smith Westbrook; brothers, Jerrell Wayne Westbrook Jr. and wife Shannon, Donal Leon Westbrook and wife Angela, and Aaron Christian Westbrook; nephews, Steven and Brendan; nieces, Andrea and Maci; as well as many aunts, uncles, family, friends, cousins, and church family all over the world. She touched so many in some special way, be it through her smile, giggle, singing, or just being in the room with our special angel. She enjoyed singing, signing with ASL to songs, playing instruments such as the dulcimer, ukulele, tambourine, keyboard, and maraca as well as working vacation bible school in her local churches. Join us in a Memorial Service celebrating her life 2 p.m. Friday, August 14 at the Searcy Church of the Nazarene, 112 Ridgeview Place, Searcy, Ark. 72143. A visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. Following the service, the family plans burial of her ashes at Kensett Cemetery; all is welcome to attend.
