William Robert Spain

William Robert Spain, 85, of Little Rock, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 10, 2015. He was born January 6, 1930 in Cedar Grove, Tennessee to the late Thomas E. and Eva Spain. He was a long time member of Temple Baptist Church and a Marine Veteran of the Korean War. He was a carpenter and home builder for over 40 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Thomas E. Spain, Jr. and brother-in-law, John D. Smith. Survived by his wife of 58 years, Nola L. (Polly) Spain; two sons, Mike of Little Rock, Steve (Billy Green deceased) of Dallas, Texas; two sisters, Dorothy M. Smith of Cedar Grove, Tennessee; Mary Grace Bush (Bob) of Law, Tennessee. Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m., Friday, August 14, 2015 at Forest Hills Memorial Park with Reverend Richard Walters and Reverend Jerry Kidd officiating.
