Royse N. Sanders

Superintendent Royse N. Sanders, born Nov. 11, 1929, entered the Kingdom of Heaven Aug. 12, 2015. He accepted Christ at an early age and was called to the ministry at the age of 12. Elder Sanders has pastored for over 63 years in various churches in Arkansas. He is survived by his children: Missionary Mary Calloway, Geraldine Sanders, Royse Sanders Jr., Jannette Sanders, Charles Sanders, Elder Darrell Sanders, and Elder James Sanders all of Malvern, Ark., Sherry Carter of Marianna, Ark., Beverly Mays of Hamburg, Ark. and Missionary Gwendolyn Cousin of Pine Bluff, Ark., a sister, Gracie Lee Betts of Denver, Colo. and a host of other family members and friends. Family will receive friends, from 6 p.m. till 8 p.m., Monday, August 17 at West End Church Of God In Christ, Malvern, Ark. The Celebration service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2015 at Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Malvern, Ark. Services entrusted to Christian Way Funeral Home Pine Bluff, Ark.
