SHIRLEY MARIEDA BURROUGHS FLETCHER, 73, of Little Rock, passed away Aug. 14, 2015. She was born May 15, 1942 in Damascus, Ark. to Claude Franklin and Elsie Jane Holland Burroughs. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Lois A. Horn. She was retired from Pulaski County School District, Robinson High School as a bookkeeper. She loved to sew, travel, visit with friends "Brunch Bunch" and take care of her family and special close friends. She loved her fur babies, especially Annie, Baby and Abbie. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Raymond Benny "Buddy" Fletcher; sons, Randy Fletcher and fiancée, Susie Wortham and Benny (Jenny) Fletcher; daughter, Marieda (Kenneth) Priest; brother, Farris (Marilyn) Burroughs; grandsons, Daniel, Jon (Lena), Michael (Madelaine) Priest; granddaughters, Amanda (Matt) Anderson, Shelby Wakefield, Jessica Priest and Jo Fletcher; great-grandchildren, Elias, Carlee, and Ada Priest, Brayden Anderson, Tommy Wakefield, Emmarie Anderson and Landis Priest; and by many special nieces and nephews she considered as her own children. Many close cousins she considered siblings. Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth. Burial will follow at Morgan Cemetery.
