Retha M. Elrod

Retha M. Elrod, age 87, of Benton, passed away Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015. She was born Aug. 23, 1927 in Benton. Retha was a housewife and a member of the East Side Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Eula Reed Johnson; husband, Louis Albert Elrod; one brother and two sisters. Survivors: sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Judy Elrod, Greg and Vicki Elrod, all of Benton; three grandchildren: Kevin, Andrew, and Marc; three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at Ashby's. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday at East Side Baptist Church with burial at Owensville Cemetery. Minister will be Bro.
