Walter Raymond Payne

Walter Raymond Payne, of Camden, Ark., was born on Jan. 9, 1990. He passed away at his home in Bossier City, La. on Aug. 12, 2015 due to complications with diabetes. Walt is preceded in death by his father, Michael Anthony Payne; grandfathers, Shelton Payne and Raymond Myers; two aunts, Lisa Myers and Lee Ann McDade. Walt is survived by his mother, Lori Myers Payne Kellogg; sister, Logan Woodward; grandparents, Carol and Ron Hudson; and uncle, Ray Myers, all of Bossier City, La.; grandparents, Linda and Dick Mosley of Camden, Ark.; aunt and uncle, Laura and Kevin Tuberville (Alaina and Ashlyn) of Mountain Home, Ark.; along with a large extended family and many friends. Walt attended school at both Camden Fairview and Parkway High Schools (Bossier City). He went on to earn a technical degree in HVAC from NWLTC (Shreveport). He also studied audio and music production at Bossier Parish Community College. Walt loved music, movies, and trivia. He expressed his creative side through writing, painting, playing guitar, and singing. Tuesday, Aug. 18, a visitation will be held at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City, La. from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a service following at 1 p.m. Also a visitation will be held at Proctor Funeral Home in Camden, Ark. from 6-8 p.m. that evening. Wednesday, Aug. 19, a graveside service will be held in Camden, Ark. at Memorial Park Cemetery at 10 a.m. where Walt will be laid to rest next to his father.
