Barbara Sue Riley

Barbara Sue Lambert Riley of Dumas passed away Monday, August 17, 2015, at home surrounded by her family. Born on the 24th, a "crisp October day," in 1937, in Dumas, Ark., she was the daughter of the late James Glenn Lambert and the late Oletha Dee Allen Lambert. Barbara was the widow of William Franklin (Bill) Riley Jr. She was also preceded in death by her step-mother, Clemmie Lambert, and one step-brother, James Ezell Simmons. She is survived by one daughter, Susan Melanie Dilbeck (Darrell) of Tyro, Ark.; two sons, William Glen Riley (Rebecca) of Clarksville, Ark.; Steven Brett Riley of Mobile, Ala.; one brother, James Glendon Lambert (LaNell) of Dumas; one sister, Glenda Vonne Moring (Gene) of Little Rock, Ark.; and a sister-in-law, Lois Simmons Royal of Pine Bluff; five step-grandchildren, four step great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday, August 20, 2015 from 5-7 p.m. and funeral services Friday, August 21, at 1 p.m., both at Griffin Funeral Home in Dumas.
