Grace Eva McCord

Grace Eva McCord, 97, of Rogers passed away August 19, 2015 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born June 14, 1918 in Lyons, Nebraska the daughter of John Henry and Mary Velma Emmrick Tryon. Grace was a self employed house cleaner and babysitter and a member of Open Door Baptist Church, Grace was also a member of the ESA Sorority. She is preceded in death by her husband, William R. McCord; one daughter, Ruby Prophet and two grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Carolyn Gobble and LeRoy Edwards both of Springdale; Judy Rowlan of Lowell; John Edwards of Springdale; Patsy Rigsbee and Terry Edwards both of Rogers; 10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. Funeral services 2 p.m. Friday; August 21, 2015 at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers with Ty Heinrichs, officiating. Interment will follow in the Rogers Cemetery.
