Gene George Lund

Gene George Lund, 70, of Fayetteville, died Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015 in Fayetteville. He was born April 14, 1945 in Omaha, Neb., the son of Gene Elmont Barton and Georgea Patterson. He married the former Sally Fink on Nov. 14, 1964 in Omaha, Neb. and a member of Sequoyah United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Sally Lund of the home; children: Douglas Lund (Niki) of Mason City, Iowa, Deborah Norden (John) of Honolulu, Hawaii, Sean Lund (Cheryl) of Lincoln, Neb., Andrea Way (Mark) of York, Neb; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and four stepgrandchildren. The family will have a memorial service, 4 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2015 at Sequoyah United Methodist Church. The family will gather in the fellowship hall immediately after the celebration of life to visit with friends. Moore's Chapel handled the cremation arrangements.
