David E. Roper

David E. Roper, 70, of Brooklyn, New York, formally of Little Rock, Arkansas departed this life August 14, 2015 in Brooklyn, New York. He was employed by the state of New York and the Federal Government for more than 40 years. He was a very active member of the International Christian Brotherhood at the Christian Culture Center in Brooklyn New York. His survivors are: his wife Adrienne, Sons David (Shirley) of Atlanta, Ga., Daryle (Margo) of Charlotte, N.C. and Donnell of Brooklyn, New York; Daughters: Stephanie of Raleigh, N.C. and Jennifer of Brooklyn, New York. Seven grandchildren; Julian, Jahniece, Jordan, Sharahya, Daryle Jr. Geary and Ruby. Seven brothers; Cornelius, Ivory, Elijah, Charles, Clarence, Perry and Michael. Two sisters; Sharon Jones and Wanda Harris. Funeral service will be Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 1 p.m. St. John Baptist Church, Roosevelt and Main.
