Daniel Parish

Daniel Lee Parish passed from this life at home in Searcy, Arkansas, on Wednesday, August 26, at the age of 41 years, 9 months and 6 days. He was born December 20, 1973 in Searcy the son of Lonnie Parish and Kathy Roberson (Donnie) Parish. Survivors: Loving wife, Stephanie Wortham Parish; daughter, Kaci Danielle Miller and husband, Austin and nine month old daughter, Lorelai Renee. Other survivors include his brother, Ronnie Parish (Amelia); nephew, Andrew Parish; sister, Cindy Arlene Parish; nephew, Joseph Parish; grandmother, Jessie Roberson; aunt, Patsy Collins (Barry); cousin, Dale Donnell (Tracy) and family; uncles, Hubert Parish and Alan Roberson (Kay); special family friend, James Noble and a multitude of friends and relatives. Preceded in death by grandfathers, Lee Andrew Roberson and Arlin Jackson Parish; grandmother, Geneva Treadway Parish; uncles, Bobby Lee Roberson and C.S. (Robby) Roberson. Daniel was a baptized believer and member of the First Baptist Church in Judsonia. He was a bright and talented person who was both charming and entertaining when family gathered. He was creative with both words and craftsmanship; working with wood and other media. He loved the outdoors and was a devoted hunter and fisherman. His later life brought with it many struggles, but we are comforted that he is now at rest in the Lord's arms. He will be dearly missed. Visitation: Friday, 6–8 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home.
